What we collect
When you sign up for North Lauderdale Community News, we collect your email address, and optionally your name and a cell phone number if you choose to provide one. We also record the date and time you signed up and which page you signed up from.
How we use it
We use your email address to send you the monthly email newsletter from the Office of the Mayor. If you checked the box to opt in to text messages, we will also use your cell phone number to send you occasional city text alerts from the Office of the Mayor, such as event reminders and emergency updates.
What we never do
We never sell or share your information for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messages
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or reply HELP for help.
Texting has not started yet. If you opted in, your consent is stored on file and will be used once the city’s text alert program begins.
How to unsubscribe
Every email newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the mailing list instantly, no questions asked.
